Agro-technology and extension services division is working as an important and primary wing of FFDC.

This division possess the facilities of laboratory, seed multiplication farm, commercial scale distillation units, besides an aromatic garden and nursery.

Facilities
The centre has developed an aromatic farm for improved agronomical practices and a herbarium at project site to study & introduce improved variety of aroma bearing plants.

Proven quality seeds and planting materials of aromatic crops are available for propagation. Green House facility for generation of planting materials under controlled conditions is also available.

In addition, laboratory facilities have been created for soil testing, estimation of oil content, PH value etc. Two field distillation units (FDU) have been provided to this division, where farmers can get their crop distilled.
