FFDC aims to serve as an interface between essential oil,
fragrance and flavour industry and the R & D institutions both in
the field of Agro Technology and chemical technology. Main objective
of the centre is to serve, sustain and upgrade the status of farmers
and industry engaged in the aromatic cultivation and its processing,

Government of India, Ministry of Small Scale Industries under
Mission for Millennium-2000 has launched a programme for providing
Technology Support Services at identified locations on Neem based
products and aromatic & medicinal plants in the country. The
Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre, Kannauj has been nominated
as an implementing agency of these projects. Government of India
